Phyllis Louise (Phelps) Suggs

Phyllis L. Suggs, 89, passed away Friday, June 9th at Baylor Scott White - Temple in Temple, Texas.. A time of visitation with family will be on Friday, June 16 from 6-8PM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born on January 8th, 1934, in Walworth, New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald L. Wilson, second husband, Robert S. Smith, third husband, James E. Suggs, and her close companion of over 20 years, Foster W. Wilson, two brothers and grandson, Bryce Patrick Wilson and great grandson, Jace Corbin Davis.

Survivors include sister, June Netherton of Indiana; son, James A. Wilson and wife, Gail, of Houston; daughter, Margaret Davis of Oglesby; son, Robert Wilson and wife, Sharon, of Houston; son, Henry Smith of Nevada, daughter, Donna Wilson; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Her last years were spent in Oglesby under the care of her daughter, Margaret Davis and her son in law, Joe Davis until his sudden passing on January 13th, 2020.  She attended United Methodist of McGregor and loved spending time with all the grands.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association
