Nicholas Scot Chipman

Nicholas Scot Chipman of League City, Texas passed away February 25, 2023 at the age of 41. A memorial service for Nick will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home

Nick was born April 2, 1981 to Robert and Rosemary in Denton, Texas. Nick was a Camp Sweeney camper for over 10 years; he formed many lifelong friendships there. Camp Sweeney’s mission is to help support campers and their families navigate the highs and lows of Type 1 diabetes.

Nick graduated from Ryan High School in 1999. He then went on to receive his Associate of Science Degree from Cook Community College in 2003. He used this degree and worked in the engineering industry as a metallurgical technician for close to 15 years.

Nick was a bigtime 'Stros" fan, an avid foodie, and an amazing cook. Nick enjoyed gardening and craft projects, but above all else he cherished spending time with his daughters.

Nick is survived by his daughters, Alissa Rose and Carley Paige, his parents, Robert & Rosemary Chipman, Grandmother Shelly and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
