John David Unger

John David Unger passed away at the age of 56 on April 25th, 2023, in Waco, Texas. He was born on April 1st to Clive Edgar Unger and Marilyn (Glass) Unger, in Kansas City, Kansas.

John attended Iowa State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. With his entrepreneurial spirit and love for helping people, he founded Unger & Associates Investments Management, a financial planning practice that he owned and operated throughout his career. As a trusted financial advisor, John was known for his dedication to his clients.

John was a loving and devoted father to his two children, Clive (25) and Camile (23) Unger. John cherished the time spent with his children and took great pride in their accomplishments. He passed on his strong work ethic to his children, teaching them to dream with their eyes wide open.

He was a passionate football fan, a competitive poker player, and enjoyed lifting weights. John also loved to travel and explore the world, often taking his children and friends on memorable trips.

John is survived by his children. His passing hurts the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will be carried on through the stories shared by his family and friends.

A memorial service for John David Unger will be held on Friday, May 5th at 2 pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Those who wish to pay their respects and celebrate John's life are welcome to attend.
