Cindy Ann Schrader passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, surrounded
by loved ones.
Cindy was born on May 5, 1956, to Roy Lee and Wilma Blanton Culp in Waco. She graduated from
Midway High School and began working for Home Abstract & Title Company. She began as a secretary
and worked her way up to Title Examiner and Senior Vice President. She worked for them a total of 47
years.
When not working, Cindy loved being with family and friends. She was a second mother to many people
she worked with and to her friends' kids. Everyone that met her was drawn to her infectious smile and
laugh. She loved taking the entire week of Thanksgiving off to cook for her entire family when her
mother passed the torch. She would go camping with her brothers' families, swimming at the lake,
concerts, gambling, and cruising with her best friend of 47 years, Janice Hammond. She had many
friends, but they were sisters of the heart and spent every chance they got to explore a new cruise ship.
The two most important people she loved spending time with were her two grandchildren, Damian, and
Zoey. She adored them from the time she found out she was going to be a Nana. She would move
heaven and earth to be where they were no matter what holiday or birthday it was.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee, and Wilma; eldest brother Ricky Lee; sister-in-law,
Tanjhnua Culp; and her soulmate of 20 years, Arthur Dale Taylor.
She is survived by her son, Zachary, his two children, Damian, and Zoey, their mother, Sabrina Golden-
Schrader; Brother John David; Sister Sharon Sue, and sister-in-law Pam Kabuss; and countless nieces and
nephews that loved her dearly.
