Zelma Hughes

Zelma Mae Hughes age 93, of Waco passed away at her home with her husband by her side. Graveside Services will be 1PM Tuesday September 27, 2011 at Alvord City Cemetery in Alvord, Texas with Rev. Bill Cleveland officiating.
Zelma was born November 13, 1917 in Wise County to Richard T. and Martha Smith. She retired from Collins Radio, and she was a homemaker. She married Al Hughes in 1971 and they made their home in Waco. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, bowling, traveling and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Covington, and her 2 brothers.
Zelma is survived by her husband Al Hughes, their children, Nina Mason, Dee Belew, Kelly Covington, Kirby Covington, and Carl Edwards. She loved her 16 grand children and 23 great grand children.
