Zachary "Zac" Alan Cockerham

Zachary Alan Cockerham (Zac), 28, of Seguin Texas (formerly Lorena, Texas), passed away on December 11, 2021 at his home in Seguin, after a long battle with a broken heart that could never be mended. His body will be cremated at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.  A Celebration of his Life will be at his home in Seguin after the holidays on January 8, 2022.

Zac was born March 25, 1993 in Dallas Texas to Mark and Connie Cockerham.  He grew up in Lorena where he enjoyed soccer, baseball, football, and basketball, with basketball being his true passion.  He graduated from Lorena High School in 2011, and went on to McLennan Community College. He worked various retail, warehouse, and construction jobs.

Although Zac struggled for so long with the passing of his sister, he had passion for helping others through their struggles. His love to help others will continue to carry on. He had a heart of gold, an old soul, and was everyones friend. He loved his family, friends, basketball, skateboarding, swimming, music, and social media.  It is through social media that I later found out he had helped so many by being there for them, now his light will continue to shine even brighter then before.

He was preceded in death by: Sister Hailey Cockerham, Grandparents William and Patsy Cockerham, Grandfather Vernon Ewing, Great Grandparents Willie and Maudie Franks, Cousin Tyler Cockerham, Uncle Jay Cockerham, and other family members.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Connie Cockerham, grandmother Margaret Ewing, several cousins, aunts, uncles and lots of other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Addiction Outreach Centers and Cancer Research.
