Winnie Fay McMillan, formerly Winnie Fay Chandler passed away Friday, April 15. Services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10 AM, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive, Woodway, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6 to 8 PM, at Grace Gardens. Graveside service will follow at 2 PM, at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple, Texas.

Winnie Fay McGregor was born June 28, 1923 in Lubbock,Texas, the daughter of Daniel Allen and Neata McGregor. She was the last surviving of the seven brothers and sisters. She was affectionately known to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Mema. Her resilience, optimism, sense of humor and loving help was extended to all who knew her.

She grew up in Pendelton and Troy,Texas. She was a graduate of Troy High School. She lived in Waco for the last sixty years. She worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth during WWII and worked for several dentists in the Waco area. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church of Waco.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas O. McMillan in 2001, her first husband Wilder E. Chandler in 1956, her son Wilder E. "Scooter" Chandler Jr.; her brothers, William Ray McGregor, Allen Jerrel McGregor, Loyd O. McGregor; and sisters, Callie Evon Anderson, Ethel Thornhill and Clara B. Kitching.

She is survived by her son, Byron Chandler and wife, Kathy; daughters-in-law, Cindy Chandler Ford and Tanya Rhee-Na Chandler; grandchildren, Brin Chandler, Ursula Woessner, W.E. (Will) Chandler, Stacia Chandler, Shayna Huegel; and great-grandchildren, Tristen Woessner, Jerimiah Alcoser, Evan and Natalie Huegel, Wilder and Harper Chandler; and step-daughters, Jackie McMillan Hedge, Jane McMillan, Judith McMillan; step grandchildren, Jane McMillan, Naomi Lovallo, Stacie Miracle, Shannon Barnes, David Hedge; and step great-grandson, Corey Barnes.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Heart Association, First United Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
