Biography

Wilson Dale (Bill) Battreall III, age 71 of Waco, passed away, Wednesday October 13, 2010, at his residence with his family by his side. Graveside services will be 2PM Saturday October 16, 2010 at Riesel Cemetery with Pastor Gaylan Turner officiating. Visitation will be at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 8 PM.
Bill was born October 16, 1938 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Wilson and Norma Battreall. After graduating from High School he joined the US Army in the early 1960’s. He worked and had many friends at J&S Cycle Center in Waco. He worked for TSTC and retired after 20 years.
He was preceded in death by Louise Battreall and Bobbie Bentley Battreall.
He is survived by two daughters Kristi Barrientos and her husband Jay and Susan Outlaw and her husband Keith; six sons Keith Bentley and his wife Hayley, Wilson D. (Butch) Battreall IV, Verona Van Battreall, Yancy Alan Battreall, Kirk Stanley Battreall and Kurt Stewart Battreall; two brothers Marc Battreall and Ted Humsberger and his wife Denise; stepfather Elden C. Hunsberger; a cousin Brad DeVries; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
