Willie Faye Putman

Willie Faye Putman was born October 25, 1931 to M.O. & Rosie Etta (Henthorne) Murphy in Kirby, Arkansas and was raised in Hubbard, Texas where she met and married the love of her life. She and Kirksey Melvin Putman were married August 9, 1947.

Willie Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her daughters Linda Waller of Hewitt and Theresa Cheatham (and husband Gipp) of Waco; five grandchildren Keri Thomas of Hewitt, Erin Glass (and husband Justin) of Waco, Blake Waller (and wife Katy) of Temple, Shayne Cheatham (and wife Lena) of West and Casey Haddock (and husband Robert) of Waco; eleven great grandchildren Dylan, Wesley, Savanah, Jayda, Emma, Kelsey, Karley, Chance, Mason, Ryder, and Noah. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Katherine Teakell of Peoria, Texas and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Willie Faye was surrounded by loved ones as she passed peacefully at home on August, 18, 2023. The family is thankful for the care, support, and love provided by the Community Healthcare of Texas Hospice team.

Graveside services will be held at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10 a.m. The family will accept visitors at 604 Aspen Incline, Hewitt, TX 76643 following the service.
