William Gaskin Jr

William D. Gaskin Jr. age 84, of Elm Mott, Texas passed away Thursday November 22, 2012, at his home. Graveside services will be 2PM Monday November 26, 2012, at Marquez Cemetery in Marquez, Texas. Visitation will be from 2 to 4PM Sunday November 25, 2012, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

William was born on October 22, 1928, in Marquez, Texas, to William D. Gaskin, Sr. and Emmer Gaskin. William served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was also a member of the Chalk Bluff Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Wanda Marie Gaskin, and sister Sarah Miles.

William is survived by his loving wife of almost 63 years, Pauline Gaskin; sons William J. Gaskin of Elm Mott and Paul C. Gaskin and his wife Cheryl Miller-Gaskin of Gholson; one grandson Paul C. Gaskin, Jr. of Elm Mott; and great grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Nors of Gholson. Also brothers Jim Gaskin, Sr. of Hewitt, Ray Gaskin of Bellmead and Bob Gaskin and his wife Rayelene of Bruceville; one sister LaNelle Merryman and her husband David of Hewitt.
