William "Bill" Forshage

William "Bill” Forshage 79, loving husband, father, and papas, was called home to Heaven on November 5, 2024.

Bill was born in Blackpool, England on December 13, 1945 to Willam and Veronica Forshage. He was raised in San Antonio, Texas. Bill was a hard-working, dedicated family man, who loved his family dearly. Bill was a proud veteran of the Vietnam war serving both in Hawaii and Vietnam. Bill served with the 25th Infantry division known as Tropic Lighting from 1963-1966.

Bill loved spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren. Bill loved bowling, watching Harry Potter movies, listening to music, and dancing. Bill loved Christmas, it was one of his favorite holidays. Bill loved watching It’s a Wonderful Life every Christmas with Cheree. Bill loved his truck and collecting old cars with Brandee. 

Bill is survived by a host of family and friends. 

The love of his life for 52 years was his loving and devoted wife Susan. Dedicated loving children Brandee and John Charette, Cheree and Jimmie Meyers. Loving grandchildren Erin and Dustin, Mason, Kristian, Ashlee, and Hollee. Twelve loving great grandchildren. Loving baby sister Margeret “Peggy” Bowman. Brother and sister-in-law Greg Ashley and Darlene Morris. Special cousins Alan, Cathy, and Bill. Fourteen fur grandbabies. Several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his mother and father William and Veronica Forshage, Mother in Law Betty McCoy, Brother-in-law John “BO” Ashley, and best friends Travis Fagen and Win Frankel.
