Wesley Glenn Pase

December 18, 2022 — December 18, 2022

Waco

Wesley Glenn Pase passed peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 18th, 2022. Shortly after being held in the loving arms of his father, R.J. and mother, Kinsey, plans were made for him to be laid to rest. A welcome gathering of loved ones will be hosted by his immediate family beginning at 3:30 pm, Thursday, December 29th, 2022 in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity at Badger Ranch.

In 2021, R.J. & Kinsey Pase & their toddler Mason, relocated to Waco from Midland, Texas to establish their roots, and grow their family. Not long after settling in Waco, an opportunity to relocate to Hewitt arose and the family currently resides in this small, warm community, closer to their Church in Woodway. While their time in the area has included a few job changes for both parents, and a steady enrollment at Our Dreams Daycare in Woodway for Mason, the constant, biggest blessing in their family was having each other and making the decision to grow the family, beginning in 2023.

Fortunately, it didn’t take Kinsey long to discover that in May 2022, through an at home test, that their dreams of Mason being an older brother would soon come true. After a confirmed appointment with a new obstetrician, Kinsey told R.J. to expect their new blessing in January 2023. “What a way to look forward to 2023!” She would say. Although Kinsey had very minor complications while pregnant with Wesley, there was never any reason for her to expect that she herself would experience a medical emergency at the 36 weeks mark. On that mid-December morning, Jesus called Wesley Glenn Pase to his Heavenly home.

We believe that Wesley was always truly a Child of God in the womb and is now a Guardian Angel for his parents & brother, as he was too perfect for this world. It has been said that God needed Kinsey to stay on earth with a son and husband who need her daily, and many people rejoiced on December 23rd when Mason & R.J. welcomed her home from the hospital after 6 days away. Wesley continues to watch over those who love him & looked forward to meeting his acquaintance in 2023. Remember, when you look to the stars at night, Wesley shines his light down from the Heavens, as he watches over us, especially his Bubby, Mommy & Dada.

Wesley is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane Pase, who was waiting for him in Heaven with open arms, having joined Jesus on July 14th, 2022. We know a host of other close relatives welcomed Wesley with hugs on the ready including his Great Grandmother “Grandma” Eulene Holder and Great Grandfather, “Granddaddy” Wayne Sikes in addition to so many cousins, family pets and loved ones who were watching over him for the months leading up to his birth, and in those unfortunate final moments in December.

Our precious & perfect Wesley is survived by his biggest fan & older brother, “Bubby” Mason, his adoring parents, “Dada” R.J. & “Mommy” Kinsey, of Hewitt, TX. Included in his closest surviving family members are 3 Great Grandparents, “Nana” Nelda Gillihan of Midland, TX, “Grandpa” Rev. Walther Marics & “Grandma” Judy, of North Olmsted, OH, 4 grandparents, Rev. Robert “Grandpa Bob” Pase and “Kay Kay” Kindra Holder, both of Midland, TX, and “D-Man” David Holder & “Ginny” Jennifer Simmons of Converse, LA, and by proud Uncles Jeff Holder of Midland, TX, and Jake Pase & his wife, Aunt Sheba George-Pase of The Colony, TX, as well as 2 Aunts in Lafayette, LA, “Ewin”, Erin Christ (Uncle Blair, Cousin Libby), and “Abby” Abigail Billeaud (Uncle Richard, Cousin Fisher).

In Honor of Wesley, the family invites those who are able or wish to attend, please come to our gathering at Trinity, as you are. Please don’t feel compelled to dress for a traditional Church service or funeral attire unless you so desire. It’s not about who is there, what they wear, the meal or the music, it is to celebrate that Wesley Glenn will live through memories, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue having him in our lives and hearts, the rest of our days.

The family wishes to the thank amazing first responders, incredible doctors and courageous nurses at Baylor Scott & White - Hillcrest and so many additional thoughtful, loving hospital staff members for taking care of Wesley in his final moments, and Kinsey throughout her hospital stay. In addition to various helping hands, a special shout out is extended to our friends at Trinity at Badger Ranch, and those who have helped at Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation, Oakwood Cemetery, and Phipps Memorial; though no parent ever wishes to have the conversations we have had, we couldn’t have had a better experience & are truly grateful for the connections that have been made.
