Wayne Griffith

Wayne Griffith of McGregor died Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the age of 90. Private interment will be in the Comanche Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Griffith was born December 17, 1925, in Crawford, Texas. He was the son of the late Marvin and Mattie (Sandhoff) Griffith. He received his education at the Prairie Hill and Crawford Schools. He served his country in the United States Navy and was discharged as a Seaman, First Class. He married Ola Mae King who preceded him in death in 1994. Much of his life was spent as a laborer. More recently he was employed with McGregor Milling and Grain for ten years.

Also preceding him in death was his two sons, Douglas Griffith, Marty Dean Griffith and a brother, Travis Arthur Griffith.

Survivors include a son, Michael Griffith of McGregor and several nieces and nephews
