Wanda Thompson

Wanda Louise Thompson age 67, of Lorena passed away on Monday April 1, 2013 at her home. Funeral Services will be 7PM Friday April 5, 2013 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rankin H. Koch officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Thursday April 4, 2013 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Wanda was born on November 16, 1945 in Crocket, Texas to Lermon and Olene Sloan. She was the fourth daughter of seven. She graduated from Corsicana High School.

She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters Jean Humphries and Nell Gorman.

Wanda is survived by her husband Donald of 37 years; two sons Mike Thompson and wife Leslie, Todd Thompson; a daughter Robin Barben and husband Robert; her mother Olene Sloan; 4 sisters Loraine Davis, Billie Koch and husband Rankin, Pat Hilzendager and husband Ken, Doye Carroll and husband David, 11 Grandchildren Leanna, Logan, Morgan, Mallori, Brad, Marshall, Matt, Jessica, Blayne, Braelyn, Hunter, a great grandchild Kaylen.
