Biography

Duke Windsor, age 88 of Lorena passed away Friday September 3, 2010. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10AM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8PM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Duke was born October 15, 1921 in Dew, Texas, to Walter and Hattie Windsor. He graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. He served in US Navy during WWII. Duke worked for LTV for over 20 years. He worked for Docutel in Irving as an electronic technician. He was an avid golfer after retirement he worked at LB Houston golf course in Irving, Texas. He was known for his jokes and pranks.

He is survived by his three children, a son Steve Windsor of Colorado Springs; two daughters Vickie Daly and her husband Dieter of Lorena and Suzanne Teague and her husband Sandy of Lorena; Four Grandchildren Michael, Clayton, Shelley, Ashley and Ryan; Four Great Grandchildren Kendall, Ava, Cohan and Gavin.
