Walter Gene Stone of Asa passed away October 20, 2011 at his home with his family at his side. A memorial service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Walter was born in Kosse, Texas May 18, 1936 to A.J. and Pearl Stone. Walter worked in agriculture until his retirement.
He is survived by: Wife: Mary Stone; Son: Gene Stone and wife Janice; Son: Geary Stone and wife Shelly; Daughter: Tish Gann and husband Milton; Son: Alan Stone and wife Donna;—Grandchildren 5, Great Grandchildren 8. Brother Robert Stone, Sister Linda Strawhorn.
