Virginia Soto

Virginia Soto, 89, of Waco passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at the Spanish Assembly of God Church in Marlin, 902 Foster Street. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive.

Virginia was born Jan. 11, 1927 to Camilo and Hortenica Martinez in Bremond. She has been a resident of Marlin since 1967. Virginia was an active member of the Spanish Assembly of God in Marlin. She was loved by her family and those that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse, daughters, Gladys Rodriguez and Janie Ramirez; son, Faustino Soto; and granddaughter, Eyvonne Soto and numerous brothers and sisters.

Virginia is survived by her son, Joe Soto of Hallsville; brothers, Pete Martinez of Chilton and Lupe Martinez of Rosebud and numerous grandchildren , great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Soto, Anthony Soto, Joseph Soto, Jr., Martin Soto, Jacob Soto, Joe Soto.
