Virginia Long

Virginia Crow Long passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at home in Waco, Texas. Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Grace Garden Chapel with visiting hours Monday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park following the chapel service in its Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Virginia was born to Jeff Brim Crow and Mary Simonton Crow on September 23, 1925 in Dallas. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Jeff Crow, brothers, Jeff Brim, Jr., Trammell Crow, Davis Crow and wife Cele, Stuart Crow and wife Helen, and Howard Crow and sisters, Helen Crow Renkin and husband Robert and Kathleen Crow.

She is survived by her husband, L.D. (Dick) Long of Waco, sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Crow of Dallas, stepchildren, Dennis Long and wife, Julia, and Nanci Long, two step grandchildren, Daniel Long and his wife, Corrie, Megan Beatty and husband, Bryce Beatty and step-great grandson, Drake Beatty and many nieces and nephews.
