Virgil Thompson

Virgil Thompson age 62, of McGregor passed away Monday February 13, 2012 at a local hospital. Memorial Services will 3PM Friday February 17, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Virgil was born on September 21, 1949 in Georgetown, Kentucky to Henry and Nancy (Cox) Thompson. He was a trucker driver for 38 years. He enjoyed country music and spending time with his grandchildren. Virgil was married to his wife Fay for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother and a sister

Virgil is survived by his wife Fay; daughter Donna Thompson of Oneonta,AL; Daryl Thompson of Mcgregor; Jeffery Thompson and wife Rachael of Oneonta, AL; Vickie Zarate-Pantoja and husband Jose of McGregor. He had 10 grandchildren Dakota Thompson; Kaleb Ayers Thompson; Courtlyn Thompson; Autumn Hill Thompson; Marcus Thompson; Dalana Ballard; Maria Zarate-Pantoja; Makaela Thompson; Dylan Ballard; Joey Thompson; also survived by Brother Joe Thompson of McGregor;2 sisters Sonja and Debra of Portland,Idn.;2 brothers Roger and David of Portland, Ind.
