Viola Sanders

Viola Helen Sanders, 89, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2308 N. Valley Mills Drive, by Lester Nokes. Private burial will be later at White Rock Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m.Friday, May 1, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive, Waco.
Viola was born January 19, 1926 in Waco to Willie and Tennie Ballard. She graduated from Watchtower Bible School of Gilead in 1950 and served as a missionary in Venezuela for four years. She also served as a pioneer and special pioneer minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years. She was married on March 31, 1956 to Harold Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold Sanders.
She is survived by Cynthia and Keith Schroeder, Sharon and John Hamill, and Charlotte Carpenter; grandchildren, Sara Vogelsinger, Amy Meredith, and Wendy Adams; brother-in-law, Carroll Sanders and wife Jeri; and many nieces and nephews.
