Viola "Lisa" Millsaps

Lisa Millsaps, 56, of Leander, TX, peacefully entered her eternal rest on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8820 Woodway Drive. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Grace Gardens.

Lisa was born, May 10, 1961, to Mearlin “Andy” Wesley Anderson and Dorothy Ann Burgin in Glendale, AZ. She lived the majority of her years in Waco, graduating from China Spring High School and the Dental Assistant program at Texas State Technical College. She was married 35 years to Butch, the love of her life and together they raised two wonderful sons, Blake and Kennin. Lisa worked as a dental assistant in Waco then, after relocating to Watauga, TX, she was employed by Custom Design Homes and Michael’s Keys.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and a true caregiver at heart. She adored her grandsons, Presley and Sawyer, and special nephew Jacob and loved being their Nana. Along with spending time with her family and friends, Lisa enjoyed singing, dancing, gardening and serving others. She loved her LORD and was an active church member.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andy Anderson and Dorothy Smith. Lisa is survived by her husband, Butch Millsaps; sons, Blake and wife Ashley, and Kennin; her two precious grandsons, Presley and Sawyer Beau of Ft. Worth; step father, Morris Smith; parents-in-law, Norman and Brenda Millsaps; brother, Lynn Anderson and wife Donna; sisters, Ruby Williams and Ann Stigliano; sister-in-laws, Stephanie Koehne and Pam Geffre married to Ron; and many nieces and nephews.
