Viola Frances (Jeske) Lammert

Vi Lammert passed away peacefully on Jan 28th, 2024.  Visitation will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 31st, in the fellowship hall of Zion Lutheran Church, 1126 W 6th St., McGregor Tx followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.  Private inurnment will be at a later date in the McGregor Cemetery.

Vi was born Feb 25, 1926 in Priddy, Tx to Carl Jeske and Ella Schuster Jeske. She was baptized on May 2, 1926 and confirmed March 17, 1940 at St John Lutheran Church, Priddy, Tx.  On Sept 15, 1956, she was united in marriage to Willie (Bill) Lammert at Christ Lutheran Church, Bishop, Tx.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; two brothers, Arnold and Carl Jeske Jr; and one sister, Eleanor Gromatzky. She is survived by a sister, Nell Helmcamp; three sons, John and Becky Lammert of Lillian, Mark and Carla Lammert of Longview, and Luke and Suzanne Lammert of McGregor; four grandchildren, Kayla, Michael, Ashley and Jessica; and three great grandchildren.
