Vicky Todd, age 59 of Waco, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at a local hospital with her family by her side. A celebration of life service will be Saturday, July 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Gray officiating.
Vicky was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Coalinga, Calif., to Wayne and Zula Reese. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1970 and married her high school sweetheart, Gary Todd, in 1971. Vicky earned a B.S. in Education from Texas Tech University in 1974. They had three children, and Vicky stayed at home, dedicating herself to her family. She later worked for Baylor University’s Graduate Business Programs. She was a faithful follower of Christ and had a love for angels and animals.
Vicky was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years and her sister, Jana Reese.
She is survived by a son, Justin Todd; two daughters, Natalie George and husband Clinton, and Kristin Stires and husband David; parents, Wayne and Zula Reese; two brothers, Roger Reese and Brent Reese; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers any memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Woodway, 101 Ritchie Road, Waco, TX 76712, 254-772-9696.
