Vicki Wallace

Vicki was born on June 2, 1961 in Pensacola, Florida to William L. and Ruth Squyres Smith. The family returned to Texas when she was one year old. She graduated from Waco High School in 1979. After high school she enrolled in Cosmetology at McLennan Community College. She was a hair stylist for J.C. Penney for thirty years. During that time she received many awards in hair style competitions. Vicki married Dale Allen Wallace on August 16, 1980. Having no children of their own they devoted their love and affection to their nieces and nephews and cousins and many other children.

Vicki loved her life and was very happy. She loved to go motorcycle riding and enjoyed making sure everyone in her family was always taken care of. She loved to travel and especially cruises. Vicki was full of compassion for people and animals. Vicki also prepared meals for the John Armstrong Masonic Lodge and many other events.

Vicki was preceded in death by her grandparents and a cousin Travis Carter.

Vicki is survived by her husband Dale of 31 years; her parents William L. and Ruth Smith; a sister Valerie Mullen and her husband David of Waco; a brother Steven Smith and his wife Becky of Lorena; her mother in law and father in law Nelta and Tommy Spillar of Waco; several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews and cousins. And her beloved pets Elvis, Judy and Bubba the cat.

The family would like to thank Providence Hospice and a special thanks to Holly and Wilta. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Providence Hospice.
