Vickey Davis of Hewitt, TX went to be with the Lord at the age of 61 on Sunday May 13, 2012. Services will be held Thursday May 17th at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium 8220 Woodway Dr. Waco, TX. A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 16th from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M.
Vickey was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on February 23, 1951. She went to school in Hillsboro, TX, and also attended Hill Senior College where she received her Nursing Degree. She was a nurse at Hill Regional Hospital, West Hospital, and retired from Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center as a Supervisor of Sterilization.
Vickey enjoyed life spending time with her family and friends. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed country music, dancing, bowling, shooting pool, and playing bingo.
She is preceded in death by her mother Christine Hardy and father Allen W. Dunn.
Her survivors include her step-father Noel Hardy, Brothers Steven Dunn & wife Dottie, Gary Hardy & wife Susie, her sister Barbara Kellner & husband Sandy. Two twin daughters Wendy Bruton & Cindy Bruton & Janet Shedil. Granddaughters Kayla Uptmore, Kayce Moore, Kara Moore. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews. Her precious dog Mya.
