T.R. Dean

T.R. Dean age 88, of Moody passed away Thursday November 24, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. Funeral Services will be 2PM Sunday November 27, 2011 at The Well Church with Pastor Jason Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Buckhorn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Saturday November 26, 2011 at The Well Church.

T.R. was born March 21, 1923 in Winters, TX to E.M. and Mae Dean. He attended school in The Grove. On June 6, 1942 he married the love of his life, Virginia Grace Key at the home of Rev. George Siler. He was a lifetime farmer, rancher, and mule skinner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jewel Dean, John Dean, Evan Odell Dean; sisters Lorraine Edwards and Lavada Gallaway; sons Freddie Dean and Dennis Michael Dean.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Virginia; daughters Mary Dutschmann and husband Marvin of Woodway, Debbie Hohle and husband Michael of Moody, Charlotte Mathews and husband Greg of Temple, daughter-in-law Donna Dean of Moody; 8 grandchildren, Steven Dutschmann, Gary Dutschmann, Lori Burris, Jeff Dean, Jennifer Kattner, Jason Dean, Tyler McLean, and Katie McLean; and 8 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steven and Gary Dutschmann, Simon Burris, Jeff and Kyle Dean, Donald Kattner, and Tyler McLean.

Memorials may be given to Buckhorn Cemetery, P.O. Box 1493 Moody, TX or the Well Church of Moody, P.O. Box 34 Moody, TX.
