Surrounded by his loving family, William Thomas “Tommy” Wischmeier was wrapped in the arms of his Savior and taken to his heavenly home Wednesday, January 23rd.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 28th at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church Woodway. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the service at Curves International Training Center on Ritchie Road.
Tommy spent the last 15 years working for Curves International doing what he loved best, taking care of the staff, facilities and everyday affairs of the company. He made many friends and touched many lives and his loss will be felt by all who knew him.
His favorite things were attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, watching Nascar racing and football.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Bill Wischmeier of Waco and his sister Joyce McClintick of California.
Tommy is survived by his wife Carol “CJ” Ayers Bates; his mother Maxine Wischmeier; his sons Terry Wischmeier and wife Michelle and Kevin Garner; daughter Wendy Law and husband David; his grandchildren Diana Garner, Macy Wischmeier, Logan Wischmeier, Zac Law and Abby Law and sister Sylvia Howell.
Special thanks, from the family, to the wonderful staff at Hillcrest Baptist Hospital and Hospice of Scott and White for the compassionate care of our T-Paw.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Robinson Baseball Booster Club or the charity of your choice.
