Tommy was born in Springfield, Mo. to the late Seawillow McGrath and Raymond Thomas McGrath. She grew up in Bellmead, graduated from LaVega High School in 1960 and lived in Waco all of her life. Tommy married John R Rogers in 1972 and they have two daughters, Tracey Bleakley (husband Adam) and Kelly Rogers, along with a grandson, Aidan Bleakley and granddaughter, Megan Bleakley.
Tommy owned and operated Cruise One, a travel agency, and was office manager for her husband’s business for many years. Her love for travel was exceeded only by her love for her family, pets included.
Tommy is survived by her husband, John, daughters Tracey Bleakley and husband Adam and Kelly Rogers: sisters Seawillow Farrar and husband Danny, JoAnn Mormino and husband Ray and Helen DiStefano: Claris Rogers, Sandra and Grover Rogers, Susan and Stuart McKay, Nancy Vordokas, along with too many nieces and nephews to list. Grandson Aidan and Granddaughter Megan held a special place in her heart.
Identifying those close to Tommy would not be complete without mention of her lifelong friend MaryAnn Shaw.
