Tommy Neal

Celia Thomasine Anthony Neal passed away August 26, Tuesday at St. Catherines in Waco, TX
Memorial services will be Thursday, August 28th, at 6:00 in the evening at St. Catherines Chapel.

"Tommy" was born May 15, 1925 in Graham NC to Thomas Alexander & Myrtle Gladys Anthony.
She graduated high school from Hugh Morson 1943 and entered nursing school at Rex Hospital
nursing school & graduated 1947. Tommy worked at Wake Memorial Hospital in Raleigh, NC as the
director of outpatient surgery for 18 years. From 1962 until moving to Spruce Pine, NC.
Tommy moved to Waco, TX in 1997 and still very active, she was a volunteer at Providence Hospital.
She loved going to the library and checking books and movies out. She was so very talented in her
cross stitching and playing the piano.

She is survived by 3 sons Michael Anthony and wife Carolyn; David Wayne Sr. and wife Susan; and
Joseph Martin and wife JoEllen; sister in NC Alice Anthony Rowell; 2 grandsons Michael "Skip" Anthony
and David Wayne Jr. Also several cousins and her 2 beloved cats Lucy and Molly.
The Neal family would like to give a special thankyou to Providence Hospital 4th floor N nurses and the
nurses and staff at St. Catherines Hospice 2nd floor.
