Tom Earl Brock, Jr., 67, of China Spring, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Visitation will be held Friday, September 23 from 6 to 8 pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. No funeral services are planned.
Tom was born November 2, 1943, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Tom Earl Brock and Mildred Brock. Tom retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Plant with 34 years of service. He was a faithful member of Top Hand Cowboy Church. Lovingly known as Brock, he will be best remembered for his keen sense of humor, his years of playing Santa Claus at the Tabernacle Christmas events, his Cushman motorcycle adventures, and his love of his family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mildred Brock; and his brother, Dan Brock.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cynthia Brock; two daughters, Lori and Elizabeth Brock; son, Mark Clifton and wife, Jessica; 8 grandchildren with another grandchild due in March; and his beloved pet, Buster.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Top Hand Cowboy Church or China Spring Volunteer Fire Department.
The family would like to thank the China Spring Volunteer Fire Department for their quick response and dedication and a special thank you to Scott Perry for his unfailing grace along with Amy and Tyler Clifton for their unconditional love and support.
