Timothy Nichols

Timothy Read Nichols, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 21, at Saint Catherine’s with his loving family by his side. Services will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home November 25, 2017 and the visitation will be at 1:00 and service will be held at 2:00. Brother Billy Edwards will be officiating.
Timothy was born August 1, 1945 in Gowanda, New York to Margaret Knepp and Theodore Roosevelt Nichols. In 1977, Timothy married Sherry Diane Denny, and they lived happily together in the Waco and Lorena area. Timothy was extremely proud of his time spent working for the Ford motor company. He went on from his time at Ford, to become a businessman establishing multiple business in Central Texas. He was often known for his kind heart and his tireless energy. He would probably state that his most meaningful job began when he retired. He truly loved and cherished the role of grandfather, doting on his grandchildren. Timothy was an avid sports fan and coached his son and grandchildren often. He love to cheer on the Baylor Bears. He would often be seen in attendance at the girls Baylor basketball games walking in arm with Diane.
Timothy is survived by his spouse of 40 years Diane Nichols, his daughter Lisa Hudgens and husband Donald Hudgens, his son Tray Arthur and wife Tessa Arthur. He also is survived by his granddaughter Cioffi Wilson and husband Brandon Wilson, his granddaughter Megan Palmer and husband Nathan Palmer, and granddaughter Cassie Muske and husband Brenden Muske, grandson Quaid Arthur, and grandson Hunter Hudgens. He is survived by five great-grandchildren Oakley Dee Cubbison, Pecoslee, Brazos and Brody Wilson and Lincoln James Muske. He is survived by two sisters and one brother. He is also survived by many lifelong friends. Especially two of his closest friends Terry Hoover and Noel Frank. He leaves behind his beloved dog Dixie.
Pallbearers are Noel Frank, Quaid Arthur, Nathan Palmer, Brenden Muske, Hunter Hudgens and Glenn Talbott.
The Family of Timothy Nichols would like to offer their thanks to everyone who has shown love and support to Tim over the years.
