Thomas "T J" Stott, IV formerly of Lorena, Texas and presently of Evergreen, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in Baker, Montana at the age of 43.
A visitation will be 4 to 6 P,M, Sunday, May 1, 2022, in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr. The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday May 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Lorena Cemetery.
TJ was born on April 2, 1979, to Tom and Linda Stott in Waco, Texas. He attended school at Lorena from Kindergarten through grade 12. TJ graduated from Lorena High School with Honors. He participated in several sports in High School, but football was his favorite. After graduating from high school, TJ attended LSU, graduated from the Fire Academy at MCC and was a certified as an EMT. After a brief time training local fire fighters in Kosovo, he continued his education at Texas State University completing two master’s degrees. He furthered his studies in Project Land Management at Boston University which led him to Colorado, where he formed his company, Rocky Mountain Land and Title Company, LLC.
TJ loved Colorado and considered Colorado his home along with the love of his life, his fiancée, Tina Parisi. TJ and Tina enjoyed nature together. They loved to hike, Kayak, and fish. TJ enjoyed cooking and loved a good Crawfish Boil. He had a passion for learning the history of the places he visited, and he was an avid ghost hunter. His favorite band was Tool. The song, Invincible, was very meaningful to him. TJ adored his twin nieces, Ella and Audrey. There was always joyful screaming and laughter when they were together. His best friend was his brother, Kenny. They enjoyed being together especially when they went fishing. They could really tell some stories.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Stott, maternal grandmother, Dorothy Richardson.
TJ is survived by his parents, Tom and Linda, fiancée, Tina Parisi, brother, Kenny Stott and wife, Amanda; grandfather, Sidney H. Richardson; nieces, Audrey and Ella Stott; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
TJ will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew and loved him.
