Thomas Guyton, Sr

Thomas L. Guyton,Sr., 62, of Lorena passed away peacefully Friday night from complications of a stroke. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Lorena Cemetery with Brent Freeman officiating.

Tom was born in 1954 to David and Dorothy Guyton in Melburne, France. Tom came to the United States at an early age and graduated from Midway High School. He spent most of his life as a mechanic with Midway Automotive. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, watching racing and old westerns, and napping.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Guyton and his mother, Dorothy Guyton.

He is survived by two sons; Tommy Guyton, James Guyton and wife Jennifer, three grandchildren; Ashley, Amanda, and Morgan Guyton; one step-grandchild, Ty Parker, all from Lorena; his brother, David Guyton, Jr. and wife Mary Ann of Speegleville; his sister, Deborah Geck of Nevada; his father, David L. Guyton of Woodway, and several nieces, nephews, and countless friends and others he considered family.
