Thomas Dawson, SR.

Thomas (Tucker) Dawson, 89, of McGregor, long time resident of Lorena, passed away Friday December 22,2023.

Thomas was born February 12, 1934 to Richard D. Dawson, and Carl Marie Dawson in Lorena. Thomas served in the Korean War with the marines. After he was honorably discharged, he went to work at the VA hospital in waco Texas until he retired in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, scratching  lottery tickets, and spending time with his grandchildren great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Dawson, his parents Richard and Marie Dawson, his brothers Richard (ED) George, Wayne , Bob and JD Dawson.

He is survived by his sisters Frances Wilkerson, Fay Parker, and Joyce Larza. His brothers Charles (Aboy) and Bill Dawson. He is also survived by his children, Thomas (Tommy) Dawson Jr., David Dawson, Mary Jones, Kathy Dawson and Dean Dawson and 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great

grandchildren. And numerous

nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed.
