Theresa Jordan

Theresa F. Jordan, of Waco, passed on January 16, 2025. A visitation and celebration of life will take place Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway, Texas, from 11-1.

Theresa was born on April 13, 1961 in Evreux, France, while her family was living abroad as her father, Pedro Z. Garcia was enlisted in the United States Air Force. Theresa’s middle name is Francois, in ode to her being born in France. Theresa, the second youngest of the 6 Garcia children, was described as a fun and loving soul who could always brighten the moment. She spent her early years living in various places as her family accompanied their father on his tours of service. When the Garcia family finally settled in Fort Worth, Texas, Theresa found a love for the area of River Oaks. Theresa attended school at Castleberry High School in Fort Worth. In addition, she earned her GED and attended the local community college. Theresa married, became a dedicated aunt, and then was blessed with her two “Boys.” Theresa was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jason and Jeremy Jordan. She worked for several years for American Title Company. In addition, Theresa was a dedicated waitress in Fort Worth at Golden Corral, listening to and supporting her regular customers. 

In recent years, Theresa lived in Waco, Texas, working at Tri-County Guttery. In addition, she spent quality time with her father before his passing in February 2024. Theresa is now in heaven, bonding with her family that has gone before her. She has earned her angel wings and will watch over her “Boys” here on Earth. 

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Z. Garcia and Ofelia C. Garcia, and brothers, Roland Garcia, and Lawrence J. Garcia. Her children survive her, Jason Jordan and Jeremy Jordan of Fort Worth. In addition, her sisters, Christina G. Tejada of Brownsville, Mary E. Garcia of Waco, and Esmeralda Stanfill of Waco. As well as several nieces and nephews.
