Thelma Ruhl

March 9, 1919 — October 30, 2013

Thelma Louise Youngblood Ruhl passed from her earthly family to her heavenly family October 30, 2013.
She was born March 19, 1919 to Joseph and Paralee Vandiver Youngblood in Floyd, Missouri. She was the youngest of eight.
She married Charles Robert Ruhl on April 25, 1942. To this marriage they were blessed with sons Charles Robert Jr. and Joseph and daughter Peggy Sue.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, parents Clay and Paralee, brothers , Arthur Clay and Orville. Sisters; Hazel, Laura, Pebble, Opal and Frances. Granddaughter, Annette Michelle.
She is survived by sons Chuck and wife Inge of Sequin, Texas, Joe and wife Jeana of Jacumba, California, daughter Peggy Sue Smith and Husband Douglas of Waco. 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great, great granddaughters and a host of friends. Special thanks to caregiver Ann Weyant and Amy Whelchel.

Meer words cannot express our loss or what she meant to those who love her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an amazing friend to those who knew her. Special Thanks to Dr. Sudan and staff. Providence Hospice, her nurse Michelle Chen, Wilda and Ida and all the support staff.

Love works in ways that are wondrous and strange. There is nothing in life that love cannot change. Love is unselfish, understanding and kind. Love sees with the heart and not the mind.
