Thanh Phuong Le (Trinh) Buxkemper

Thanh Phuong Le Buxkemper died January 21, 2022, in her loving husband's,Paul Buxkemper, arms, which was her last request at the age of 56.  The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr. Waco.  A visitation will follow from 6:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M, in the chapel.  The Memorial Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 28, 2022, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Waco, Texas with Father Ryan Higendon as Celebrant. No wake will be held due to COVID concerns, but the family would like to thank everyone for their loving prayers and kind acts

Thanh Phuong was born November 24, 1965, the daughter of Thanh Ngoc and Ngoc Lang Thi Le Trinh.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and spoiling her husband ,mother ,and especially her niece and nephews.
She and her refugee family escaped during the fall of Saigon, Vietnam on the last plane in 1975.
When she was 9 years old, she quickly learned English in the United States so she could play with her new friends.
She attended Jefferson-Moore high school and received her high school diploma there.
Later, She attended MCC and UT Arlington where she received her BSN degree.
After becoming an RN, she worked at Baylor Medical center in Dallas where she made many friends with both the staff and patients.
Thanh Phuong's laugh was joyous, her smile beautiful ,and she had the most generous heart.
She was a joy to everyone she met.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Thanh Phuong passed away in hospice care on January 21, 2022.
She was a faithful member of St Louis Catholic Church.
Thanh Phuong  is survived by her husband Paul and her mother Ngoc Lang Trinh, her brother Vy Trinh and his wife Thanh Trinh, her niece Dr.Linda Trinh and her two nephews Kevin Trinh and Vincent Trinh.
