Terry Alford Bozeman,70, was born on April 17, 1944 in Texas City, Texas to William and Muzetta Bozeman. He passed away November 28, 2014 while in Hospice care at St. Catherine’s in Waco. He grew up around the community of Personville, but called Waco his home. He was blessed with a large family that included 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Terry spent a short time in the US Army in 1963. Terry graduated Barber College in 1964 in Waco. He was still cutting hair at the end of his life at Diamond Point Barber Shop. He loved old country music, Elvis Presley, playing his guitar, science fiction, weenie sandwiches, being at home, taking naps, and watching Fox News. He believed that God watches over us. He was married for 33 years, to wife Connie Pruett Bozeman, and between the two of them had 7 children. Their family has grown to include 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
He is survived by wife: Connie Bozeman, his children: Adell James Harper and wife Melinda, Destiny Dawn Williams and husband Parker, Paul DeWayne Bozeman, Christopher Eugene Harper, Bear Terry Bozeman and wife Amanda, and Daniel Lee Harper and wife Monica; his grandchildren and great-grand-children; his brothers: Delmer Bozeman and wife Jane, Dale Bozeman and wife Beverly, George Bozeman and wife Peggy, Billy Bozeman and wife Gathel, Troy Bozeman and wife Alice; and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by both of his parents, his brothers: Norma Dean Bozeman, Larston Bozeman, and Lester Bozeman; his sisters: Charley Bozeman, Fay Lanette Bozeman Dockery, and Windola Lanell Bozeman Russell. His son, Lesley Emerson Bozeman.
Visitation will be December 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, located at 8220 Woodway Drive, Waco, Texas 76712.
