Biography

Terry Warren Bates, age 51 of Waco, died Thursday, March 05, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, March 9, 2009 at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ivan Ker officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Terry was born on January 21, 1958 in Waco, Texas to Raymond and Mary Sullenburger Warren. She attended schools in Robinson, Texas and graduated from Robinson High School. Terry was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen and Elizabeth Nix and Layton Warren; and a brother, Donny Warren.

Those left to celebrate her life include her daughters, Marisa Bates and Britnee Bates, both of Waco; former husband and caregiver, Billy J. Bates, Jr. and wife Cathy of Waco; parents, Raymond and Mary Warren of Robinson; brother, Brad Warren and wife Tracey of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Denise Warren; grandmother, Jonnie Warren; one grandchild, Zeria Myles and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Terry’s friends and the Providence Hospice team members for their compassionate care during Terry’s final days.
