Suzanne Margaret (Vahl) Kreienbrink

Suzanne M. Kreienbrink (nee Vahl) of Waco, formerly of Temple went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the age of 82.

Suzanne was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Arnold and Margaret (nee Schall) Vahl.  Despite all the health problems she faced during her lifetime, Susie was a ray of sunshine loved by all who knew her. In 1960 she married Jack Kreienbrink at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Susie and Jack enjoyed 55 wonderful years together, living in Wisconsin, Arizona, California, and Texas. She is survived by their 4 children David (Jodi) Kreienbrink, Wendy (Michael) Walker, Thomas (Susan) Kreienbrink, and Marc (Virginia) Kreienbrink. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

A service to praise God and celebrate the life of Suzanne will be held on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at Christ Our Refuge Lutheran Church 121 N Hewitt Drive Unit E Hewitt, TX 76643. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, the service at 11:00am, and a luncheon at noon. Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Our Refuge Lutheran Church.

The family would like to thank all at Brookdale-Lake Brazos and Compassus Hospice for the love and care they gave to Susie during the final part of her life.

It was a beautiful life but can’t compare to the Joy with Jesus she is now experiencing!
