Steve Pullin

April 15, 1957 – April 8, 2009

Steven Carol Pullin age 51 of Waco passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow at Mart Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Steve was born in Waco Texas on April 15, 1957 and was a graduate of Mart High School. He loved to cook for his friends, fish on his houseboat and feed the birds. Steve was very outgoing and loved playing the jukebox while enjoying his whiskey. He would tell everyone " I wonder who will play the jukebox when I go?"

Steve was proud of his son Steven Pullin Jr, who not only served our Country and now works with veterans in helping them get back on their feet. Steve was also very close to his sister Peggy Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his parents Catherine Jarrard and Billie Pullin Sr. and his brother Billy Pullin Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Gracie Jenkins, sons, Steve Pullin Jr, and his wife Brandy, Brad Jenkins and his wife Angela, and Blake Jenkins; grandchildren Felicia, Steven III, and Patricia; sisters Peggy Hicks and Karen Trent; brothers Bobby Pullin and John Jarrard; special friends Steve Ihlenfeldt, Mike Reeves, Sharon Burnham and his chihuahua, BeBe.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Sharon Burnham who sent Steve a card weekly and to Lipsitz. Providence Hospice Staff and his special nurse Lea Hemmegarn.

Pallbearers will be Wendall Clark, Mike Reeves, Larry Wilson, Steve Ihlenfeldt, Robin Roll and Gary Delamar.
