Sigrid Reames

Sigrid B. Reames, of Moody, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and caring friend, was welcomed home by our Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2014.

Sigrid was born on July 28, 1942 in Gleiwitz, Germany. She married her Army sweetheart on September 27, 1963 and came to the United States shortly thereafter as his Army wife. She traveled and lived in many places, but called Texas her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Reames; and her parents, Artur and Charlotte Hassa.

Sigrid is survived by her children, Judith M. Reames of Temple, Ronald F. Reames of Moody, Patrik E. Reames formerly of Eddy, Christina M. Reames of Waco and Rose M. Reames formerly of Austin; four wonderful grandkids; and two great grandchildren all from the surrounding cities, Hewitt, Waco, and McGregor; her extended family in Massachusetts and Germany.

Join family and friends in honoring Sigrid's last request: Celebrate her life, German Style Saturday, July 26, 7 - 10 p.m with German food and music at her home.
