Sherman W. Gamble, 79, of Hewitt, passed away on March 14, 2024. He was born on August 19, 1944, in Tooele, Utah, and later attended the College of Southern Utah. Sherman proudly served in the Air Force and was stationed at Connally Air Force Base in Waco, where he met the love of his life, Sherry Abood.
After retiring from Lehigh Portland Cement in Waco, Sherman continued his career as a general contractor, specializing in home building. He spent his days enjoying the farm life and taking on projects, especially those requested by his beloved daughter.
To celebrate Sherman's life, visitation will be 5-7 pm, Monday, March 18, at Grace Gardens. A graveside service will take place at Waco Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 19, at 2 p.m. He is survived by his cherished wife, Sherry; daughter, Nicole Tomascik and her husband Justin; son, Chris Gamble and his wife Geramie; daughter in law, Shannon Gamble; grandchildren, Brody Gamble, Sabrina Gamble, Makinzie Tomascik, Haze Tomascik, and Gaige Tomascik; as well as his sister, Geri Taylor and her husband Ed. Join us in honoring Sherman's memory and saying goodbye to a loving husband, father, and friend.
