Shawn Wallace

Shawn Wallace, 43, of Florida, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Arcadia, Florida. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with Shawn's family will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive.

Shawn was born in Waco the 29th of September 1970 to Donald and Sandra Wallace. The family moved to DeSoto where Shawn was raised and graduated from DeSoto High School in 1988. He attended Stephen F. Austin College. Shawn was an Engineer for a High Speed Communications Network in the Tech Center Area of Denver, Colorado. After suffering multiple heart attacks at the age of 38, Shawn was forced to leave the high altitude of Colorado and move to Florida to be near his parents.

Shawn is survived by his son, Hunter Lee Wallace of Denver, Colorado; his parents, Donald and Sandra Wallace of Lake Suzy, Florida; his sister, Wendy Wallace of New York City, NY; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and by his many friends who joined him on numerous hunting and fishing trips over the years.
