Sharon Lynn (Cox) Roberts

Sharon Lynn (Cox) Roberts of Waco, was called to be with her savior on Monday, March 20th, 2023 in Georgetown, Texas.

Sharon was born in Waco, Texas. Her father was in the Air Force, so the family moved several times in the US, but made their final home in Waco. Sharon graduated from Connally High School. She went on to receive a degree in Commercial Art at T.S.T.C. in Waco. She was employed at the former Olan Mills in Waco, as an artist for 15 years. Sharon then worked for TRIO Student Support Services at McLennan Community College for 25 years. She loved the students that came into her office. She thought of them as her own.  She retired in 2020. Sharon was an avid reader, loved music, cats, and most of all, her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ima Cox, of Waco, Texas.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Lee and Jessica Cox of Lorena, Texas. Three grandchildren; Riley, Christopher, and Callen. Her sister, Susan Kocian of Waco. Her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Vickie Cox, of Georgetown, Texas. Her nephew and wife, David and Andrea Kocian of St. Louis, Missouri.
