Sally Mae (Fuhrman) Nini

Sally Nini, 84, of Waco, formerly of Port Arthur, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 29, 2022.

Sally Mae Fuhrman was born December 20, 1937 to Hattie Lee Harris and Alford Jeramiah Fuhrman in Waco, Texas.  She attend Waco schools.  After finishing school, she started a career in sales. Later moved to Houston to be closer to her sister.  In Houston she achieved many awards in sales.  Sally soon realized she has a knack for sales, she also sold spas, and mobile homes in addition to her first love of furniture sales.

She was a proud mother to four children, Danny Carroll Wright, Paul LaVelle Wright, Maurice Leon Nini, and Tammy Sue Nini Johnson.  Sally loved the beach, relocating in Port Arthur, where she enjoyed the sun, flower gardening, and cooking.  Upon retirement, she moved to Waco to be close to her daughter.  She used her love of flowers to work at a local florist in Woodway.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beulah Faye Gates; brother, Buddy Fuhrman; sons, Danny and LaVelle.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Maurice; daughter, Tammy; sisters, Glenda Maxine, Martha Sue; Brother, Larry; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, plus one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will have a time of memorial celebration in Sabine Pass, Texas, laying her to rest near her sons.
