Russell Conaway

Russell Conaway, 66, of Hewitt passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones.  A Memorial visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Russell was born June 23, 1956 to Ernest and Dora Conaway in Waco, Texas.  He was a graduate of University Highschool in Waco.  Russell had many occupations, but the most rewarding one was driving the special needs bus for Midway ISD.  He considered all his passengers his babies.

Russell loved his Harley Davidson, and recently purchased his dream car, he loved most things with wheels.  He enjoyed camping and fishing and being outdoors.  He was a faithful fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a big man with a big heart.  He will be greatly missed.

Russell had many passions in life, but none as important to him as his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Vicky; children, Stacie Conaway, Coil Conaway and wife Michelle; stepsons, Troy Horn and wife Valerie, Dustin Horn and wife Joslyn; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings, Ronald Conaway, Paula Nichols and husband Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews.
