Roy Blasingame

Roy Virgil Blasingame, 82, of Battle Lake was called home Tuesday, June 23, 2015. The family will have private services at Mart Cemetery at a later date.

Roy was born September 27, 1932 in Delia Texas to Walter Virgil and Mildred (Mathis) Blasingame. On November 18, 1950, he married Bobbie Joyce Harrison.

Roy is survived by his wife, Bobbie; sons, Ronnie Blasingame and wife, Donna, Rodney Clark and fiancée, Pam Totty , and Dean and wife, Denise; grandchildren, Lane Blasingame and wife, Angela, Brandon Blasingame and wife, Lori, Ashley Kelly and husband, Jake, Melany Slagle and husband, Chad, and Adrian Blasingame and wife, Miriam; 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Blasingame and wife, Delores; sisters, Helen Whitman and husband, C.A and Dorothy Young.; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Providence Hospice Place, 300 W. State Highway 6, Woodway, TX 76712.
