Ron was born on Sept. 7, 1949 in Coeur dā€™ Alene, Idaho to Arthur and Irma Schauer. He enlisted in the military services and served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW Post #6008 in Hewitt and a local area H.O.G. member. Ron was an avid deer hunter, NASCAR fan and loved spending time on his John Deer Tractor and grilling out with his family and friends. He was especially devoted to his wife and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his wife Linda of Hewitt; two sons Jody Schauer and wife Gloria, and Jeremy Schauer and wife Brandy; one daughter, Ronda Schauer and spouse Adislado Marsh; six grandchildren, A.J., Breanna, Danielle, Christopher, Jada, and Isabella; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Ayanah; mother and father, Irma and Gene Negaard; three sisters, Arlene, Janice and Genia; and his two beloved dogs, Bear Dog and Tigger; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur and one brother.
Pallbearers for the service will be Daniel Curry, David Curry, Nicholas Beveridge, Michael Mercer, Phillip Wise and Adam Wise. Honary Pallbearers include Thomas Beveridge, Bill Curry, Dennis Wise, A.J. Pecina, Loren Taylor, Earl Doherty, Jr., Mike Nodine, and Greg Nodine.
