Ronald Howard Henson

Ronald (Ronnie) Howard Henson, 70, of Waco, Texas, was born on October 18th, 1951, and passed away unexpectedly on July 28th due to a chronic heart condition.

Ronnie grew up in Guin, Alabama. While on a cross-country motorcycle trip in 1976, he stopped in Waco, Texas and stayed for the remainder of his life; although, his love for Alabama never wavered. Ronnie was a kind and loving husband to Reba for over 30 years, a dedicated father to his children and grandchildren and the best friend anyone could have.

Ronnie spent his career in marketing traveling across Texas. He was passionate about Alabama football, spending time outdoors, playing pool, and old cars. Ronnie’s most special times were spending time with his family.

Ronnie is survived by Reba Henson, his daughters and sons-in laws: Renee and David Young, Sherry and Josh Bagby, and Kayla and Saber Feathers. Ronnie also leaves behind his siblings: Glenn Henson, Max Henson, Scottie Henson, Tony Henson, Kim McLemore and Sharon Cantrell; his precious grandchildren: Autumn Young, Austin Young, Everett Feathers, and Cameron Bagby; and far too many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends to list.

The world will be a little dimmer without his infectious smile so we ask you to please join us in celebrating Ronnie’s life at the following services:

Visitation services will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 4th, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home located at 8220 Woodway Drive, Woodway, TX, 76712..

Funeral services will be 10 am, Friday, August 5th, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with a procession to his final resting place at Waco Memorial Park.
